Retail is a very competitive business these days but one company that has managed to thrive despite hard competition is ASOS. A “try before you buy” service and new same-day delivery has boosted Asos sales by 30% as the online retailer continues to steam ahead of its struggling high street rivals.The company’s new “try before you buy” service, launched in November, allows shoppers to order a selection of clothes to try on at home. They are then only billed for the items they don’t return within a month. An ASOS boss said that the move was a response to “look through the customer’s eyes” at a time when spending was being squeezed.
