TikTok wants longer videos for its new creator fund
The creators, or influencers as they’re also known, are key to the social media platforms. Last week TikTok announced their new creator fund ‘Creativity Program’. To be eligible for the program, users will need to be over 18, hit follower and video views benchmarks, and, most interestingly, make “high-quality, original videos that are longer than one minute.” To us it sounds like TikTok is taking aim at YouTube by incentivizing creators to make longer videos.
