TikTok announces new Live shopping feature


According to people familiar with the matter, TikTok has briefed advertisers on several new features they will launch in 2021, including a tool to let TikTok influencers share product links and automatically earn commissions on sales. Following a partnership with Walmart to test run live-streamed shopping last year, Tik Tok aims to offer brands a platform to showcase their product catalogs. Basically, this feature might become a mobile version of TV shopping hosted by TikTok stars.
