Brands and publishers have experimented with IGTV since its launch last June, and reports indicate that parent company Facebook intent on monetizing the platform and paying creators to develop content that will keep viewers coming back to its vertical videos. Representatives from Instagram have been in contact with brands and agencies regarding ads on IGTV so we should not be surprised if ads starts showing. IGTV has a great potential if the standalone function can convert the one billion users that Instagram has into viewers of IGTV.
