65% of CMOs say they don’t get enough budget

RetailDive’s annual “CMO State of the Union” for 2023 is here. They’ve interviewed 100 CMOs for big retail companies in the US. The questions ranged from the biggest challenges when building a marketing team, how happy they are with their tech supplies and how they’re planning to spend their media budget. 65% of CMOs say “not enough budget” has a big effect on their advertising strategy.
