Here’s the first glimpse of Instagram’s Twitter competitor

It’s been known for a while that Instagram is working on a new app to compete with Twitter, the project is called Barcelona. Last week images of what the new app will look like were leaked. In the app, you’ll see a feed, and you can make text posts up to 500 characters long with attached links, photos, and videos. The app looks pretty much like if you mixed Instagram and Twitter together, based on two screenshots included in the leaked marketing slide. Smart move by Instagram to seize the moment while Twitter is in turmoil.
