AI art apps are cluttering the App Store’s Top Charts following Lensa AI’s success
Lensa AI, the app that allows users to turn their selfies into styled portraits of themselves as sci fi, anime, or fantasy characters, among other artistic renderings, recently went viral. The app has been downloaded 12,8 million times in December, a 600% increase from November. Lensa AI is currently topping the App Store charts and a number of AI photo editor apps have shot up on the charts. As of Monday, the top three spots on the U.S App Store are all held by AI photo editors. It seems like AI is having quite a moment right now.
